Our nervous systems play an amazing role of modulating, coordinating, and communicating among the many tissues of our body.

In this workshop we will unpack traditional ways of dividing the system into parts (somatic, autonomic, sympathetic, parasympathetic, etc.) as well as exploring the nervous system from an experiential perspective. We’ll address terms like ‘homeostasis’ and ‘balanced tone’ and look at how we can inhabit our nervous system as a partner, collaborator and participant in a non-hierarchical perspective on our body systems.

This workshop will involve lecture, discussion and movement explorations – no previous experience is required.
