Breathfulness
Breath is life.
Each unique breath tethers us to the present moment as the only place our breath exists. Yet, paradoxically, we are breathing atoms breathed by the Buddha, Gandhi and Einstein. Learning when to tune in to our natural breath rhythms, and when to cultivate new ones is a breathful art.
‘I hadn’t considered the idea of creating injuries through over flexibility. Now my practice is quieter, more organic and I trust my instincts to let me know when enough it enough. There is less struggle. Less resistance. Less feeling ‘I should’. Moment by moment breath by breath I’m rebuilding the relationships between my mind, body and spirit. Trying to hold space for whatever unfolds without forcing. Trying to be even and steady with whatever arises. Being more curious with less worrying about fixing things.’
