Mindfulness
From a bodyful perspective, we ask how does our mind express itself through the body?
When we stand taller, breathe more expansively, or bubble with laughter, that’s the body expressing our state of mind. So too when we cringe in fear or wind ourselves into knots, the body is reflecting how we feel about ourselves and the world. Ultimately, our connection to existence – just like our connection to nature – is so much bigger than us. How might we make the mind embodied and the body mindful?
‘Somatics has helped me to slow down and to be more mindful. It has helped to feel more stable and at ease and has brought my yoga practice to a complete different level.’
